3) Final music video evaluation

3)What have you learned from your audience feedback?
These are the questions I asked people after they watched my music video:
*What was your first impressions?
*What did you think of the effects?
*What did the music video signify to you?
*Do you  think the music fitted with the song?

My target audience was females who are ages late teens to 30s. Because I am in the age group I was able to ask people in my class. Most people said that the ending  was effective of showing that if the main character stopped wearing all the make-up and tried leading a different life style, then her future can be brighter than her past. I was very pleased with the feedback, because that was the message I wanted to get across to people. From peoples reaction I gathered that the "acoustic" genre is becoming more popular. I believe that I have picked an artist who appeals to a wide audience. The male who I asked said "it was good way of representing how woman are perceived and how they are meant to look like, how they are meant to be glamourous and how society think woman should be, I didn't like how it was based on performance it should have been more on the narrative." I am very pleased with this reaction because that was the basic message of my video and knowing that people understood it felt like I managed to get the message across. I understood what people said about the video relying too much performance, I think that if I had more time I would have filmed more sequences for the narrative.
